National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, October 25th, communities across Kentucky will participate in the 2025 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day to help safely dispose of unneeded medications – those that are old, unwanted, or expired. As a reminder, Collection Sites will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, and unregulated drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container with the cap tightly sealed.
