KDPH encourages Kentuckians to stay up to date on their routine measles vaccinations and contact their healthcare provider if they have been exposed and develop symptoms.

Today, health officials with the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) and Franklin County Health Department announced a confirmed case of measles identified in an adult Kentucky resident. The resident had recently traveled internationally to an area with ongoing measles transmission.

The Madison County Health Department is NOT closed. Our Berea office is closed temporarily while we have the structure evaluated. All services of the Health Department are still available.

The Martha Pride Community Health Center – Berea Health Department location is closed temporarily due to concerns with the building.
